7 Votes is a free, nonpartisan service from True the Vote Now ("we"). By using 7votes.org or the 7 Votes app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Using 7 Votes

You must be at least 13 years old to use 7 Votes. Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us at help@7votes.org if you think someone else is using your account. Texts and invitations you send to friends go from your own phone, so send them only to people you know. Don't use 7 Votes to harass anyone, pretend to be someone else, or post anything unlawful, hateful or misleading. We may remove names, team names or photos that break these rules, and we may close accounts that misuse the service.

Voting information

We link to official state election sites and share deadlines as a convenience. Election rules can change, so please confirm dates, polling places and requirements with your state or local election office. 7 Votes never asks how anyone votes and never supports a party or candidate.

SMS Terms

Program: the 7 Votes daily note and voting reminders.
What you get: a daily countdown to Election Day, your next step, and reminders about voting deadlines.
How often: up to 1 automated text a day, until Election Day, November 3, 2026.
Cost: 7 Votes is free. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out: reply STOP at any time. We'll send one text confirming you're unsubscribed and no more after that. You can also turn texts off in Profile › Your area.
Help: reply HELP, or email help@7votes.org.
Consent: you join only by turning on texts in the app and entering your number. Consent is not required to use 7 Votes. See how sign-up works at 7votes.org/sms.

Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We never sell or share your mobile number with anyone.

Email and notifications

You can turn the daily email, reminders and app notifications on or off in Profile. Every email includes a way to stop it.

No warranty

We work to keep 7 Votes accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, True the Vote Now is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using 7 Votes.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above. Important changes will be shown in the app.
